Academic History

Before your application is ready for review our Graduate Admissions Office will need an official copy of your final college or university transcript. A final transcript has the date your bachelor's degree was conferred.

Official transcripts must be sent from each institution by mail or electronically to gradadmissions@westminstercollege.edu. If you attended Westminster College Salt Lake City, UT, we will access your official transcript on your behalf.

If the college/university is outside the US, transcripts will need to be evaluated by a NACES accredited evaluation service; such as World Education Services, for a course by course evaluation.

Non-degree seeking students are defined as students who are enrolled at the college but have not applied for, or been accepted into, a degree program.
Non-degree seeking students, therefore, are those who plan to take courses for “interest only.” Non-degree seeking students are subject to the academic regulations of the college.
Credit earned while in non-degree seeking student status is not considered toward a degree unless the student applies for admission to, and is accepted by, the college as a degree-seeking student.
A maximum of 30 semester hours of coursework taken as a non-degree-seeking undergraduate student may be considered for credit earned toward a degree.
A maximum of 21 semester hours of coursework taken as a non-degree-seeking graduate student may be considered for credit earned toward a degree.
Non-degree seeking students are not eligible to receive institutional or federal financial aid.
Those who wish to pursue a degree must complete the admission process as a degree-seeking student.
